Dream's job

Since I started to understand how to use the dialectic I wanted to become lawyer. As a result, on november 8/2012 I got my Master of law in Italy, which has a different legal system called "civil law". But now in Italy the economic situation became very hard and especially for the young workers is very difficult find a job even for the people who can vaunt a good degree. So that, to pursue my dream I came to the CSUF-alp to reach my best english and try to gain admittance into the master program LLM. Indeed, thank to this one year master I will be able to partake in the Bar exam, which allow me to work as lawyer in California. That's my forthcoming plan, but some years ago I had a different dream. I wanted to become a judge against the mafia, and to be honest there are still some chances to change my mind, come back to Italy and get it. Indeed, the P.M., which is the name for this specific job, is a very interesting and dynamics job, above all for a sicilian man who is the only one able to understand hoe the mafia works! It could be the job of my dream but could mean to don't have a family and a normal free life, because it represent a very dangerous job. In conclusion, I don't know where I will be the next years but for sure I will take my choice.

  1. I'm worry for you as if you are a judge. All I know about Mafia through movie, is it the same in reality life? I believe that you are brave...but dangerous job, have no own family as well as normal free life..why do you have to choose that kind of hard and risk for your life?

  3. I think that the problem is not about the courage, the dangers or the possibility to have a own family. I think that when someone is able and has the skills to help the community that person must do it only because fight against the violences is a responsibility in a democratic country. If we are scared by the intimidations of violence we lose our freedom.

  4. Your dream is inspiring Andrea. When people ask me what I do for a living I will tell them that I help future world leaders and public servants; for example, a Sicilian student who might become an anti-mafia judge.
