Hello everyone!!! I am really happy to discuss a so interesting topic. What should i say? Twain is one of my favorites writers too, indeed i totally agree with his way to think.
I deeply think that travel is the food of our soul; traveling, you paint the corners of your soul that before were incomplete and, at the same time, add colors to your own country's experiences.
I have loved travel since i was a good child; something in the different cultures; the desire to know different cultures continuously call me and invite me to experience new realities.
I traveled a lot, thank god, and almost all around the Europe. I liked it so much, but when i went for the first time out from Europe i have understood that the real different culture are there. For sure, people who travel become better persons. My father was thinking almost the same when he sent me to Paris as a 15 years old waiter and dishwasher. As a result i was living daily with various and different people, rules, relationships and different social conditions. But today i thank my dad because it made me better, it has opened my mind and since that i could not stop to travel anymore.
Therefore anyone need to travel but few of them got the bravery to do it; yes, i think that traveling is a courageous choice. So that i have many friends who prefer stay in their own town, city, hamlet, street, buildings, apartment, room, because it's easier, but don't know what they are losing.
In some situations i'd like to make travel mandatory because there is not "beauty" without knowledge.
In conclusion, i must say thank to everyone to make me experience so many different and various thoughts and ways to live, that will be helpful for my future.
That's true Andrea<Travelling teaches us many thing, and I have learned a lot since I came here.
ReplyDeleteYes Andrea. We can learn so much when we travel around, and Europe is also a dream area that I want to go in the future. I think you are a lucky guy who was born in Italy because there are so many amazing views that I hope to see.
ReplyDeleteHello Andrea, A lot can be learnt from traveling that is hard to be learnt in you home country.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that you washed dishes in Paris as a 15 year-old! That's amazing.
